Freedom Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency helping families and businesses across Texas, Colorado, Missouri, and Tennessee find clearer, stronger coverage—without the call-center runaround. Our licensed agents listen first, then shop options across 50+ carriers so your policy fits your life, not a one-size-fits-all script.

Whether you need home, auto, landlord, or business insurance, you’ll work with a real person who knows your account. We explain the tradeoffs in plain English, help you compare real choices, and stay with you at renewal and at claim time.

Our story & ownership

Freedom Insurance Group was founded in 2005 by Erik Gamblin as an independent agency built to escape single-carrier lock-in—so clients could compare real options on home, auto, landlord, and business coverage. The practice formalized as an LLC in 2012 and is headquartered in Flower Mound, Texas.

Erik serves as Principal, Owner, and CEO. He is a licensed insurance adjuster, with 29 years of insurance industry experience and 18 years licensed. Public coverage of the agency’s multi-state expansion and education-first model includes reporting via EIN Presswire (2023) and Newsfile / Yahoo Finance.

Today the Flower Mound team shops personal and commercial lines across appointed markets, publishes practical state guides, and keeps a human point of contact from first quote through renewal and claims. Feedom’s technology is meant to support that relationship—not replace it.

Claims advocacy—how we help

We stay involved after a loss. We do not invent dramatic case studies or share private client details. Here is the practical advocacy process our team already documents for clients:

1. Prompt notice & documentation. Help you open the claim with the carrier, confirm deductibles (including wind/hail where applicable), and gather photos, inventories, and mitigation receipts.
2. Adjuster coordination. Set expectations for inspections, walk through what to ask in writing, and help you compare carrier estimates with contractor scopes.
3. Supplements & escalation. Support supplement requests when hidden damage appears; escalate calmly inside the carrier when estimates look short or communication stalls.
4. Consumer channels. Point you to regulatory help when appropriate (for example, the Texas Department of Insurance Help Line)—without promising outcomes a policy does not provide.
