Colorado Service Hub

This Colorado insurance hub orients homeowners, drivers, landlords, and small businesses to the live guides under our Colorado service center. Start here when you need the map—not a thin product clone. Colorado shopping pressure is real: Front Range hail and percentage wind/hail deductibles, wildfire and brush underwriting at the wildland–urban interface, freeze losses in mountain and high-elevation winters, and flood that almost never sits inside a standard homeowners form. Freedom Insurance Group is an independent agency licensed in Texas, Tennessee, Colorado, and Missouri.

How to use this hub: Open the homeowners guide for HO-3 framing and Coverages A–F, then drill into dwelling, other structures, personal property, loss of use, liability, Coverage F, riders, wildfire, and flood. For rentals, use landlord plus DP-1/2/3—not an owner-occupied HO form. For vehicles, start with the car insurance guide, then liability, UM/UIM, collision, comprehensive, and related options. Business and specialty lines have their own cards below.

Honest pricing note: We do not claim clients “save 40%” or any fixed discount. Colorado premiums track rebuild cost or vehicle value, roof and construction, ZIP weather and wildfire scores, claims history, deductibles, and carrier appetite. Compare the same limits and deductibles across markets.

Landlord and dwelling-fire (DP) forms

Once tenants live there and you do not, a standard HO-3 is usually the wrong tool. Use the landlord guide plus the DP form pages that match how the carrier writes the rental.

Colorado shopping priorities (short list)

  1. Match dwelling limits to rebuild cost, not Zillow market value.
  2. Fund the wind/hail deductible you choose—percentage deductibles can dwarf a flat dollar deductible after Front Range hail.
  3. Ask early whether the address clears wildfire / brush underwriting; placement can matter more than a slogan that “fire is covered.”
  4. Buy flood separately when river, flash-flood, or elevation risk warrants it.
  5. Use landlord / DP forms for non-owner-occupied rentals.
  6. On auto, compare the same liability, UM/UIM, and physical-damage deductibles across carriers—not bare liability vs. a full package.

FAQs

Is this hub a quote?

No. It indexes long-form guides so you can learn the form and then request a quote with accurate underwriting facts.

Why are DP-1/2/3 listed separately from landlord insurance?

Carriers often label rental dwellings as dwelling-fire forms (DP-1 named perils, DP-2 broader named, DP-3 special form on the dwelling—wording varies). The landlord page explains rental needs; the DP pages explain form differences.

Does homeowners include flood or earthquake?

Generally no. See the flood guide for NFIP vs. private options; earthquake is usually separate where available.

Where do I go for other states?
